Subject: Firearms article in the current "American Psychologist"

I urge you to read the article entitled "Firearm deaths among children and
youth" appearing in this months American Psychologist, a publication of
the American Psychological Association.  The article, by Clifford R.
O'Donnell (University of Hawaii), is frought with simplistic arguments,
uses controversial sources of data, and relies on material over ten
years old to present his case.  Unfortunately, this publication is
distributed to the entire membership of the APA (about 65,000+
individuals).
