Subject: Fwd: Solicitation for programs/violence and guns

The attached was posted to the United Nations Criminal Justice Information
Network List (UNCJIN-L). These will be your tax dollars at work. What do you
want to bet that Uncle Sam will round up the usual suspects. Let's take the
lead on this one. Write to your elected officials, President Clinton and A.G.
Janet Reno to prevent political propaganda from being produced at taxpayer
expense.

Does anybody have a name and E-Mail address of somebody at the NRA or SAF to
pass this on to? I frequently run into gun control material on some of the CJ
lists. Especially the UN's constant work on international gun control
programs and their goal of eliminating private firearms ownership.

     PAVNET (Partnerships Against Violence Network) is seeking promising
     programs that address the issue of Violence and Guns. The program
     should have clear and measurable goals and have been in operation for
     at least one year. There should be some evidence that the program is
     effective in meeting its stated goals and could be transferable to
     other communities.
