As many of you are already aware we have been tracking Assemblyman Pete Knight's bill AB 638 very closely. This bill reforms California CCW issuance policies and places them in line with the likes of Florida and Virginia, two states with highly-successful concealed carry laws. It appears as though AB 638 will be up before the Assembly Appropriations committee on January 24, however, it may be moved up as soon as next Wednesday January 17th. Now is the time for us all to come together and put pressure on all the committee members to vote our way. This could be the biggest step yet for the gun community.
